2023 Canada Day Celebrations in Brock Township, Scugog Township, Port Perry and Uxbridge!

No one celebrates Canada Day better than North Durham Region! There is truly something for everyone from Live Music to workshops, demonstrations, art exhibitions, delicious food and of course....fireworks!

Canada Day Celebrations in Brock Township

CANNINGTON:


The Cannington Lions Club will be hosting an incredible Canada Day extravaganza filled to the brim with activities ranging from a classic car and truck show to an assortment of rides and inflatables to live music, a Lions Club BBQ and Concession area, Beer Tent, Canada Day Cake and a fabulous fireworks display brought to you by Ben's Pharmacy. The fireworks will be set to music provided by Xtreme Sounds DJ Service of Cannington.

7 A.M - Car Show Registration begins at the Arena Parking Lot

11:00 AM - Museum Opens

11:00 AM - Activities and Rides Open - South MacLeod Park

11:30 AM - Mini Escape Room - Haunted Maze Building

11:00 AM - BBQ and Concessions open - South Pavillion

11:45 AM - Opening Ceremonies - MacLeod Park Stage

11:45 AM - Canada Day Cake - NDF Cake Table

11:00 AM - Firefighters Demonstrations - North MacLeod Park

11:15 AM - DJ Music - MacLeod Park Stage

11:30 AM - Beer Tent Opens - MacLeod Park South

1:00 PM - Car Show Awards - Car Show Tent

2:45 PM - Canada Day Citizen of the Year - Main Tent

5:00 PM - Inflatables, rides, games close - MacLeod Park South

Join the Beaverton Lions Club Celebration and fireworks display on July 1st at the Beaverton Fairgrounds and the Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre featuring a great lineup of live music performers, facepainting, kids zone, fishing derby and BBQ among LOTS MORE events! Here is a full lineup:

Canada Day Celebrations in Scugog Township


SCUGOG & PORT PERRY:


Scugog Township is well known for their great fireworks displays and this year will be no different! With a backdrop as beautiful as Lake Scugog, you can't really go wrong! This year the Canada Day Committee has pulled out all the stops to make this the best event yet with a wonderful array of activities and performances for you to enjoy at Palmer Park in Port Perry!


Here is a full lineup of events happening this weekend!

Schedule of Events:

10 AM - Fire Safety Trailer Tours provided by Scugog's Fire and Emergency Services Department.

10:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Scugog Dragonboat - tours of Lake Scugog. At the Palmer Park Pier

10:30 AM - Canada Day Parade featuring Vettes for Vets - The parade begins at Ottawa/Queen Street and parades East through Downtown Port Perry, ending at Palmer Park.

11:30 AM - Opening Ceremonies at Palmer Park featuring MC Jonathan van Bilsen

12:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Bring the kids for some super summer fun at the kids zone! This year’s kids zone will include:

  • Inflatable castles and games;

  • Crafts and other activities hosted by the Township’s very own recreation and museum staff;

  • A large colourable mural designed by local indigenous artist JonnyOneThree;

  • and more!

12:00 PM - Serving of the Canada Day cupcake cake from Vos’ Independent Grocer

12:00 PM - FREE hot dog lunch from Maple Leaf Foods

12:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Beverage area presented by Old Flame Brewery featuring Two Blokes Cider

2:00 PM - FREE pizza lunch from Dominos Pizza Port Perry

Dog Lovers Lure Course - Calling all dog lovers! Bring your dog(s) down to Palmer Park for some action-packed fun for the whole family to enjoy. DogLoversDays sells top-quality photographs of your dog on-site, allowing you to capture the memory and keep it forever!

Canada Day Celebrations in Uxbridge Township

UXBRIDGE


Join the Canada Day celebrations in Uxbridge on Saturday, July 1st in Elgin Park with an exciting Fireworks Display at Dusk! Festivities take place starting at 6:00pm. Enjoy food trucks, fun family activities, face painting and fireworks! The event is free for all!


Gates to Elgin Park will open at 6:00 PM. Please enter the Elgin Park Drive Gate. No parking near bandshell.


*Please note, if the Township is under a fire ban on the day of July 1st the fireworks display may be cancelled.
