About the event

Enjoy this great opportunity to shop for unique, local, handmade gifts for Christmas! The Leaskdale Loop businesses are just minutes apart in the scenic countryside north of Uxbridge, less than an hour from the GTA. We will be decked out in the holiday spirit to welcome you. Make a day of it!

What you'll find on Nov 18: -In addition to their fantastic regular market items such as preserves, baked goods, and beautiful locally sourced artisanal products, Tindall Farm & Market will be hosting their Annual Christmas Vendor Market in the greenhouse! More than 2 dozen vendors in the greenhouse alone! -Just down the road, stop by the Home of Lucy Maud Montgomery for scones and tea ($5) and re-energize! -Visit the studios on the Leaskdale Loop! Greenmantle Pottery and Concession 6 Studio offer one-of-a-kind ceramics, art, woodworking, knitted goods, handmade cards and much more, straight from the studios of the makers! -Allow some extra time at Concession 6 Studio to make a Christmas card under the direction of card-maker Irene Hoekstra. Try out rubber stamping and embossing. This activity is by donation, with proceeds going to the Sunrise Pregnancy and Family Support Centre of Uxbridge. (Activity will run as long as supplies last)

-Pefferlaw Creek Farms offers some fantastic consumable gifts like bourbon barrel aged syrup, Ontario birch syrup, maple butter and more. -Banjo Cider is a great place to take a little break from your shopping and choose from a dozen different ciders (both non-alcoholic and hard), all made on site! Weather permitting, you can walk around the orchard or enjoy the communal fire pit, but there’s also indoor seating in the bottle shop. And of course you can pick up some cider to take to holiday parties, give as gifts or simply enjoy at home.

-Close your Leaskdale Loop experience with " An Olde Fashioned Christmas Concert" at 7 pm at the Historic Leaskdale Church!
