About the event
The Gardens of Uxbridge is an annual self-guided garden tour (with driving map provided) that has been the highlight on the Ontario garden tour calendar for over 25 years.
Each summer up to eight local residences are opened to the public. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased HERE
The Tour is hosted in support of The Lucy Maud Montgomery Society of Ontario (LMMSO) which operates a National Historic Site in the nearby hamlet of Leaskdale, Ontario. L.M. Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables and other books, lived in Leaskdale for fifteen years. Her home, church, and garden can be visited on the Tour and at other times of the year.
The Gardens of Uxbridge tour organizing committee works in partnership with the LMMSO to produce the annual Garden Tour.
The annual event is a showcase of the outstanding gardens created by local residents on their personal property.…
